do you ever ask yourself why Christians celebrate Good Friday and Easter?
= One of the first thing s that may come to your mind about Easter are rabbits & colourful eggs but Easter has nothing to do with rabbits and eggs.
Well, Good Friday is actually celebrate to remember the day when Jesus Christ, the son of God died on the cross for everyone.
When he hung on the cross, he took away all the wrong things we have done and forgive is for doing it. So that we can go to heaven.
God is a God who cannot tolerate sin so, someone must suffer in our place for the sin that we have committed. God loves us so much that he sent his own son to die and suffer our punishment.
That is why we celebrate Good Friday, to remember and to be thankful for what God and Jesus has done for us.
Jesus died on Good Friday but he rose up from the dead on Easter. And that is why we celebrate Easter, to remember that God has won over death. That death cannot win because own God is more powerful than death and promises all those who trust in him will have eternal life will not have to fear death.
So you see, Good Friday and Easter is a story on how much God loves each and everyone of us including you. He died so that your sins might be forgiven and that you may have eternal life as well. All you have to do to accept him and his gift of eternal life is to belief in him and receive him into your life as saviour and Lord.
God is a God of love. He will not reject you because you have failed or because you have rejected him before. He will accept you for who you are because he loves you enough to die in your place.
Just call out to him and ask him to reveal himself to you that you might know him not just because you were convinced by anyone else. But because you have met him yourself and you know that he is real.
If you chase to accept him or want to ask him to reveal himself to you, just pray. Pray like you were talking to a friend. It does not matter what language you use because he will understand you. And after you have prayed, you use your prayer with "in Jesus' name "Amen".
It is also alright if you choose not to trust in him or you are not ready for him because he gives is the freedom to choose. But you will truly blessed if you put your trust in him because he is the one true God who can save us from the flames of Hell and grant is eternal life with him.
And remember this, no matter what, God loves you.
-Honestly, I dont believe in God but after I heard of this story about Good Friday, I try to accept it and I can feel his spirit, as i use to pray when I'm in a difficult situation, it works! I hope that everyone after read this, will have the same mind. God always forgives us, so do we need to forgives people among people, because we meet each other is a fate that God plan for us. We just live life once, there's no other chances to have such lucky life which all of us living right now. Because of a small matter argue or rebel or whatever, Why dont we just live peace and dont bother about it? People, please start to think twice of everything you did, those hatred.... just forget it.
